8.5.4 Review And Remove Your Rules

C-e H r o opens Your feedback rules, combining personal, session, and captured-buffer changes. q returns to the selected menu item. P previews the complete result, t temporarily enables/disables a rule, and d removes it. Removing an override restores the next weaker contribution rather than leaving a copied default.

In the rule list, RET or e opens the selected rule’s panel. Other rules stay in the working draft. n~/~p moves through settings and SPC reads the selected value. RET expands What should match, Content, Before content, or After content. Matching criteria toggle included/excluded states.

Within Content, voice and speak expand choices in place with the current selection shown. Other fields ask for the selected value. Existing actions expand into settings; Change operation chooses an operation for that phase. Inherit removes a voice or speech override and D removes another selected setting. Each change preserves other settings and remains in the draft.

P in the panel previews the working rule and S stops. w or Save writes to its original scope and announces whether it was saved or temporarily applied. q closes a section and focuses its parent, retaining edits: voice choice to voice to Content, then panel to rule list. In the list, N adds a rule and q asks before discarding an unfinished draft.
