6.2 What You Can Hear

Aural Presentation can use one or more of these forms of feedback:

These forms can be ordered around the content. For example, entering a section might play a cue, speak the heading in a distinctive voice, and leave a short pause before body text. The presentation is one result, not several unrelated notifications.

The precise sound may vary by speech engine, installed voices, sound pack, and audio hardware. The intended distinction should remain understandable even when a simpler backend uses fewer voice characteristics or centered output.
