Press C-e H p d to resume a retained draft directly in its owning editor. When several drafts exist, choose one by name; cancelling keeps the menu open. Opening the draft preserves its source and working settings and saves nothing. Finishing returns to the same menu item. Each editor retains its own save and leave choices: the voice editor offers Keep, Discard, or Continue editing; a rule editor can ask before discarding an unsaved draft.
In the common editor, u undoes and q offers keep, discard, or continue. Guided feedback q first goes up through components, then hides/retains the draft at the top. To reverse an applied rule, use C-e H r o and disable or delete it in the correct scope with t~/~d.
Drafts last only until Emacs exits. Discard abandons unsaved edits, not completed saves. The voice editor distinguishes stored settings from successful worker application; use that distinction when deciding to retry or make another edit.
If saving finished but application did not, keep the result separate from an unfinished editor draft. Use the following procedure before retrying.
