12.5 Help And Recovery ¶
- If terminal output is visible but silent, press C-t C-q once and retry.
Automatic speech applies only while the Term buffer is displayed.
- If an Emacs command is being sent to the child program, remember that you are
probably in character mode. Use C-c C-h m, C-c M-x, or switch to
line mode with C-c C-j.
- If review has drifted away from live output, press C-t .. If dedicated
review mode controls the keys, press q first to return to character mode.
- If a full-screen application redraws in a way that Term cannot present
reliably, retry it in Speech Access To EAT and use EAT’s explicit review
commands.
